silverlightlantern Honestly all of the tracks are so good, hard to pick a favorite. Simple but rich, both in lyrics and music. Love it! Favorite track: I, Hope.

Seafront 04:11
There was a man Across the sea He wove a song With all the colours of the sun There was a woman On the shore Painted silence With the whisper of her lungs There was a call That once was heard With every breath Every gap between the words There was a weight That was known Lifted gently From the marrow in her bones For there's no point holding to silence when it can't take you home And there's no point looking for something that's leaving you lost For the same sun shines on the water, shines on the shore And the same son shines on you daughter, making you whole For there's no point holding to silence when it can't take you home And there's no point looking for something that's leaving you lost For the same sun shines on the water, shines on the shore And the same son shines on you daughter, making you whole For the same sun shines on the water, shines on the shore And the same son shines on you daughter, making you whole

Chokehold 03:38
How did you find me here When I thought I'd buried you deep Where were you hiding before Cos now you've forced me out of my own front door Oh it's catching in my throat I think I'm gonna choke on the space you left inside oh the space you left behind It's catching in my throat I think I'm gonna choke How did you carry so far Hope that things would work out in the long run Who knew silence could be so loud Your indent slowly fades from your mattress now Oh it's catching in my throat I think I'm gonna choke on the space you left inside Oh it's catching in my throat I think I'm gonna choke on the space you left inside Oh it's catching in my throat I think I'm gonna choke on the space you left inside It's catching in my throat Hope's got to break this chokehold

In the winter before the dawn I slept, you were knocking, I woke, you were gone I searched through those empty corridors In the winter before the dawn So I will look to the west for you For out of the wilderness you drew me Leaning on your love I knew you My saviour, my friend My beginning, my end My saviour, my friend My beginning, my end For all that you've been, and all that you'll be Wrapped in a moment of startling clarity You are my garden, and you are my wall You are my purpose, my vision, my all So I will look to the west for you For out of the wilderness you drew me Leaning on your love I knew you My saviour, my friend My beginning, my end My saviour, my friend My beginning, my end Your love is like a raging fire And many waters cannot sweep this love away

I, Hope 04:14
I was found by the river of the damned The waters rising, one more minute till I drowned The hands that laid me, wrapped me tenderly in white Fingers found me, reaching desperately for life Where, where shall I go? Father, where, where shall I go? I was raised in a foreign family The things unknown were my soliloquy To look beyond and see the things unseen But when they heard, oh how they despised me Where, where shall I go? Father, where, where shall I go? And I sung, oh I sung into your soul Into things you didn't know weren't whole When disappointment took your eyes You left me on a rugged tree to die Where, where shall I go? Father, where, where shall I go? I came back, I came running back I came to take you home I came back, I came running back I came to take you home I came back, I came running back I came to take you home I came back, I came running back I came to take you home Where, where shall I go? Father, where, where shall I go?

Deep down in the garden That you planted long before I came Long before I saw You shaped the wild You never cut a root or thorn But made a picture of your love From complex mysteries in bloom You knew I'd come You knew I'd come You grew a forest Every tree, a seed of truth Planted deep within the depths of my uncertain soul you grew And from those branches You drew a harvest And dwelt within, and sang a song Singing peace now be with you You taught me love You taught me love So how can I thank you more? How can I love you Lord? How can I give you all? Take every part of me Take every part of me I found your trail Tried to follow through the woods But found myself upon another path And lost within I stood And heard you calling Your voice the sweetest sound I'd heard You called me up beyond the canopy Up beyond the birds You set me free You set me free So how can I thank you more? How can I love you Lord? How can I give you all? Take every part of me Take every part of me And as I gave you all You made me beautiful And as I gave you all You made me everything that I was made to be And as I gave you all You made me beautiful And as I gave you all You made me everything that I was made to be So how can I thank you more? How can I love you Lord? How can I give you all? Take every part of me Take every part of me Take every part of me Take every part of me Take every part of me Take every part of me Take every part of me Take every part of me

about

Pluma explores where hope may be found in the highest, lowest and most mundane moments of life. I've drawn inspiration from some phenomenal artists such as Bear’s Den, The Staves and Ben Howard, as well as the cinematic arrangements of Sigur Ros and Sleeping at Last. However, I have endeavoured to develop a sound that stands apart on it's own too. Complex, finger-picking guitar and smooth, rich vocals are lifted with vibrant strings, delicate piano and textured soundscapes with intricate attention to detail.
